Engr. Oyedele Hakeem Alao, popularly known as Allow Alao, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Distinguished Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin on his elevation and installation as the Agbaakin Olubadan of Ibadanland.
Alao described the honour as well-deserved, noting that Senator Folarin’s elevation reflects his consistent service, loyalty, and deep commitment to the cultural and traditional values of Ibadanland.
According to him, “This prestigious title is a recognition of Senator Folarin’s steadfast contributions to the progress of Ibadanland and his exemplary leadership within and beyond Oyo State. The Agbaakin stool is one of honour, responsibility, and trust — qualities Senator Folarin has demonstrated over the years.”
Engr. Alao further commended the Olubadan of Ibadanland and the Olubadan-in-Council for upholding tradition and honouring individuals who have contributed meaningfully to the development of the land.
He offered heartfelt prayers for the newly installed Agbaakin:
“I pray that the Almighty God grants Senator Folarin more wisdom, long life, and divine strength to excel in this new role. May his tenure as Agbaakin usher in greater unity, peace, and progress for Ibadanland. May he continue to be a shining light, a worthy ambassador, and a pillar of support to our people.”
Alao added that the elevation is not only a personal achievement for Senator Folarin but also a great pride for Ibadanland, Oyo State, and the Yoruba race.
