Islam teaches balance and fairness as essential principles for a just and peaceful society. A believer is guided to live with moderation, avoiding excess and injustice in thoughts, actions, and decisions. Balance helps individuals remain upright in their faith, while fairness strengthens trust and harmony within the community.
Allah reminds us of this responsibility when He says:
And thus We have made you a just community.
Surah Al Baqarah chapter 2 verse 143
This verse calls Muslims to be examples of justice, moderation, and righteousness in all aspects of life. Fairness in dealings, honesty in speech, and compassion in relationships are not optional values but core obligations of faith.
As we gather for Jumuah, may this reminder encourage us to uphold justice in our personal lives, our communities, and our responsibilities to others. May Allah guide our actions, purify our intentions, and grant peace and stability through fairness and balance.
Jumuah Mubarak.
