70th Birthday: Engr. Oyedele Hakeem Alao Joins Akinrinade Family for Lady Chief Mrs. Foluke Akinrinade Thanksgiving Service

All Progressives Congress governorship aspirant in Oyo State, Engr. Oyedele Hakeem Alao (Alao-Allow), on Wednesday joined the family of Barr. Akin Akinrinade at the Cathedral of St. Peter Anglican Church, Aremo, Ibadan, for the thanksgiving service marking the 70th birthday of Lady Chief Mrs. Foluke Akinrinade, JP.

The thanksgiving service, held amid prayers, hymns, and tributes, drew dignitaries from across Oyo State’s political, legal, and traditional circles who gathered to celebrate the life and service of Lady Chief Akinrinade, wife of respected legal practitioner, Barr. Akin Akinrinade.

Engr. Alao, who was received by the celebrant and her family at the historic cathedral, described Lady Chief Mrs. Foluke Akinrinade as “a mother in Israel, a virtuous woman, and a pillar of support whose 70 years have been defined by godliness, community service, and quiet philanthropy.”

“At 70, Mama remains a symbol of grace, dignity, and virtuous woman. She has raised a godly home with our father, Barr. Akin Akinrinade, and her life continues to inspire women across the state,” Alao told newsmen shortly after the service.

The APC chieftain noted that Lady Chief Akinrinade’s devotion to the Anglican Communion and her contributions to women’s fellowship, charity work, and peace-building within the Aremo community reflect the values Oyo State needs to reclaim its pacesetter status.

“Celebrating 70 years in good health and sound mind is no small mercy. Mama has served God and humanity with a clean heart. As we pursue the Redemption Mission 2027 for Oyo State, we need mothers like her whose prayers and counsel hold the land,” Alao added.

The governorship hopeful prayed for continued strength, joy, and divine favour for the celebrant, urging her to remain a voice of wisdom for younger women in the state.

Barr. Akin Akinrinade, while appreciating guests, thanked Engr. Alao and other dignitaries for honouring his wife, noting that her 70th birthday was “a testament to God’s faithfulness to our family.

The service featured special thanksgiving, choir renditions, and prayers for the celebrant, her family, and Oyo State. Dignitaries present included party leaders, legal practitioners, church officials, and community heads.

Lady Chief Mrs. Foluke Akinrinade, JP, is a respected community leader, a Justice of the Peace, and a devoted member of the St. Peter’s Anglican Cathedral, Aremo, where she has served in various capacities for decades.
