
A gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Engr Oyedele Hakeem Alao, popularly known as Allow Alao, has expressed deep shock over the death of Oba Olubunmi Isioye-Dada, the Osi Balogun of Ibadanland, who passed away on Friday.
In a condolence message, Engr Allow Alao described the late Oba Isioye-Dada as a dedicated traditional ruler whose calm wisdom and commitment to Ibadan’s heritage would be sorely missed.
Allow Alao also extended heartfelt condolences to the immediate family of Oba Isioye-Dada, the Olubadan-in-Council, Ibadan monarch system and the entire people of Ibadanland.
“The passing of Oba John Olubunmi Isioye-Dada is a painful loss to the family and the entire Ibadan. While alive, our revered Oba, the Osi-Balogun of Ibadanland served with dignity, humility, and a deep sense of duty. His reputations and steady royal elevations were well-deserved recognition of his immense contributions to the preservation of our rich cultural traditions,” Engr Oyedele Alao stated.
Engr Allow Alao prayed for the repose of the late Oba’s soul, and that the family find strength in the legacy of the dedication and services he left behind. “May God grant Oba Isioye-Dada eternal rest and comfort all those mourning his departure,” he added.Tagged Allow Alao, Ibadan, Oba Isioye-Dada, Oyedele Alao
