May Day: Allow Alao Congratulates Oyo Workers

A leading gubernatorial aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Engineer Oyedele Hakeem Alao (Allow Alao), has congratulated workers in the state as they join their counterparts all over the world to commemorate Workers’ Day.

Alao in a statement he personally signed described workers as the pillars of progress and main engine of any government, lauding their selfless dedication, sacrifices and hard work despite economic hardship.

According to him, it is important that appreciating the workers must go beyond rhetorics, maintaining that it is the duty of any government to make their welfare a top priority through job security and improved welfare packages.

The Asiwaju of Irokoland enjoined the workers to take pride in their contributions to the development of the state, noting that without them no state can really move forward.

He similarly urged them to persevere in discharging their duties with unwavering commitment, assuring that there is a silver lining awaiting them under the administration of the APC as a labourer deserves his/her wage as at when due.

He said, “As workers in our dear state join their counterparts all over the world to celebrate the Workers’ Day, I cannot but pay special tribute to their significant contributions in driving economic growth, shaping a brighter future and fostering social stability in the state.

“I want to sincerely assure them of my unwavering support and commitment towards better lives for them through advocating for policies and initiatives that will promote their welfare and well-being at all times such that they will be proud of been part of the success story of the state.”Tagged Allow Alao, Oyedele Alao, Oyo State, Workers’ Day
