A gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Engr Oyedele Hakeem Alao popularly known as Allow Alao has officially joined the race for the governorship position after picking up his nomination and expression of interest forms in Abuja on Thursday.
The Ibadan-born engineer and politician, confirmed the development through his media team where he described the move as a decisive step towards offering purposeful leadership and a new direction for Oyo State ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He highlighted further that his ambition is driven by a commitment to reposition the state for sustainable development, improved infrastructure, and economic growth, while promising to run an inclusive campaign that reflects the aspirations of the people.
